Opening season: 1 April - 1 November Description: This quiet 3 ha measuring campsite lies near the IJsselmeer (inside the dykes) and the picturesque small town of Stavoren. Located near the forests of Gaasterland it is recommended to visit some of the famous Eleven Towns of Friesland, for ex- ample Hindeloopen, Workum or Sloten, by bike. Along the shores of the Morra lake, Fluessen lake, Heegermeer lake, Slotermeer lake and the IJsselmeer lake, beautiful biking and walking routes can be found. Close to the camping is Marina Stavoren situated, where a restaurant, indoor pool and supermarket can be used by visitors of the campsite. Location: Near the beach of the IJsselmeer lake, harbours with many facilities and along the famous Eleven Cities Route. Accessible: Off Motorway A6 (Emmeloord-Lemmer), State Highway N359 (Lemmer-Bolsward). Exit Stavoren. Train from Leeuwarden to Stavoren.
